WebTide This Month

Monthly Meetup: Culverhouse College of Business

April 18, 12 pm - 1 pm

A232 Gordon Palmer Hall

For our April WebTide meetup Jaclyn Head, the Lead Web Architect for the Culverhouse College of Business and Web Content Coordinator, Joey Marino will be sharing their experience successfully migrating Culverhouse’s network of sites from a custom Ruby on Rails legacy content management system into a WordPress Multisite platform.

Lunch sponsorship for this meetup is still available! If your unit is interested in sponsoring a WebTide event, please send us a note. Your support would be amazing.

Last Month's Meetup

For our March WebTide community meetup we were excited to host the UA Strategic Communications Social Media team, who shared information for approaching social channel conversations - as well as their experience using the Spredfast/Khoros mangement tool.

If you weren't able to join us in person, you can still find tons of useful tips and social media management information on the Strategic Communications Social Media resources page:

March Coordinating Update

During our last Coordinating Group meeting, a number of topics of community interest were discussed, including:

  • Meetup topic review for coming months
  • WebTide community growth planning
  • New coordinating member: John Hawkins, College of Arts & Sciences
  • Retiring coordinating members: Tory Ezell, Kim Smalley
