November Meetup: Year in Review and an Eye Towards 2022

Is there a meetup topic you loved this year that you would love to see fleshed out in a follow-up session? Do you have a project around the corner that you can’t wait to share with the web community? Is there a type of outreach or engagement you would like to see more of within WebTide? This is your moment!
Come hang out with WebTide colleagues for our last formal session in 2021 as we discuss the cool topics everyone loved, propose opportunities and ideas for new content, and begin planning for any new initiatives or community events of group interest for the coming year. This is also a great opportunity for anyone interested in helping serve in our facilitator engagement roles to learn more – should any community members be interested in helping with community planning over the coming year!
And last but not least – there will soon be an additional exciting milestone: in 2022 WebTide will officially be 20 years old!
The first WebTide meetup occurred on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 and was a session dedicated to sharing tips for enhancing the web experience for users. Although the topics and discussion items have evolved over the years the convention of a collaborative, peer-led forum with a mission of sharing knowledge and best practices has been the hallmark of the WebTide experience since the very beginning. 2022 is an exciting opportunity to remember some of this amazing history and look forward to the cool new things to expect through WebTide in the coming years!
