Oh no! Not more buzzwords!!
In the world of the web maker, around every avenue and corner, there lies in wait a novel approach and corresponding acronym – just waiting to pounce. Many of these can spark thoughtful consideration while others sometimes prove more, dare we say it… academic?
For this WebTide we will be taking a look at Lean UX, a practice that incorporates a model of hypothesis building and minimum-viable solutions testing to help quickly make quality items. In the words of Jeff Gothelf, author of Lean UX: Applying Lean Principles to Improve User Experience:
“Lean UX is about bringing the true nature of a product to light faster, in a collaborative, cross-functional way that reduces the emphasis on thorough documentation while increasing the focus on building a shared understanding of the actual product experience being designed.”
If learning more sounds like your jam or cup’o’joe – come join the meetup!
